The location was absolutely perfect. it was only 1500 feet from the beach. But it was also within walking distance of Waikiki Beech in front of Sheridan and Hula Grill where we swam everyday and enjoyed sitting under the palm trees. it was close to the Hilton Village…walkable, close to many restaurants and all kinds of stores large and small. We ate a superb breakfast twice, just around the corner. also around the corner is the bus stop which will take you to historic Honolulu section, to The Naval Air Museums and the shuttle out to the submerged Arizona, From same bus stop you can get to and from the airport. Cost us seniors 1.25 each for bus ride in any direction. it is close to the Trolly Ride Hop on Hop Off. i absolutely loved our location. Staying in Waikiki was fabulous. Oh yes and there is a pretty park just across the way we’d walk through to get to some places It was good value for our money too. Felt totally safe too. Staff was wonderful. They’ve done some reason remodeling. also really liked that it was only 4 floors. We stayed at the top and to the back so we didn’t get a lot of major street traffic sounds

Location was great, we were able to check in earlier than expected with no problem, and staff was extremely nice, courteous, and helpful. Room was clean, and good size for 4 adults, we had a great view. And UBER pick up was directly outside the hotel making it very convenient. The beach is walking distance, and hotel offers beach towels. There is a bank, convenience stores, restaurants and bars literally steps from this hotel. Air conditioner worked great, room tempreature was perfect, and a great clean hotel for the price. We called for towels and pillows and room service was always courteous and quick.

The location of The Polynesian Residences was excellent! It’s on the main road and there’s easy access to ALL the shops you could think of. There’s good food places in the surrounding aswell, unless you’re wanting more fast food then Uber Eats is the way to go! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We requested for an early check in as we had an early flight, but there were no rooms available for the room we had booked and the lovely receptionist upgraded our room for free so we could settle in and freshen up after our long flight. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!!

It's not the Ritz, but if you want to save a couple thousand on a room where you won't spend much time, it's plenty comfortable. Maid service was phenomenal. Always someone at the front desk with a smile and eager to please. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Next door to amazing food. Across the street for anything else you might need.

There was also a washing machine ($1.75 per load) and a dryer (free!!) just above us on the next floor. The women working at the front desk were exceptionally kind and helpful.
